The heavy-duty welded steel mainframe provides maximum strength and superior visibility while operating the machine.OVERVIEWOIL BATH BEARINGSLarge gang beams feature welded gang standards specifically designed for the Oil Bath gang bearings for long service life and less downtime in extreme conditions. Competitive models with greaseable bearings are more susceptible to damage for either lack of greasing or seal damage from over greasing.LARGE GANG SHAFTThe massive 2-1/2″ diameter gang shaft has a double bolted nut lock system on both ends of the shaft to keep the gang tight. Convenient wrenches are provided to tighten the gangs when necessary.EXCELLENT GROUND ENGAGEMENTTo provide you the greatest amount of blade digging force Ashland uses heavy 20″ cast the spools place over the 2.5″ gang shaft to give you the highest weight per blade performance. The 36″ unit provide 1,060lbs/blade whereas the 42″ unit 1,123lbs/blade digging force. This type of weight / blade allows you to do more in a single pass.NARROW ROAD TRANSPORTThe 9′-9″ overall transport width makes mobilization much easier in urban areas. The tall ground clearance and large wheels allow you to easily back on the unit onto a RGN trailer.
